FRIDAY 28th DECEMBER 1888

Home - Office etc.

Gay Boys market.

Morning - Out for brewery and also in park looking after the brothers Titterton who are doing gutters and fences.

We had a tremendous wash of water last night. Regular flood on?

  1. What market was that again? Victorian Cheadle is certainly full of surprises. Perhaps that's why Christmas Day was so quiet - they were saving themselves for the main event.

  2. I had a good laugh when I read that. It really stands out against all the other serious entries.

I wonder what it really was. Something like a charity Christmas bazaar with music?
