THURSDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 1888

To Albert Docks to see Mr G. Butler embark per S.S. Aorangi for New Zealand, he is taking his wife with him back to Pleasant Point near Timaru.

We sent 2 parcels with him, one for Rose containing tea pot, cream and sugar bowls to match etc and also a parcel of draperies etc for Alma. Their ship left docks at about 1 and we watched her thro the dock.

I left Clara and Bert and came on to the city by train and saw my agents regarding agreement with Bagnall. Then to the patent office again, reading up and searching regarding treadles for sewing machines.
