Morning - Fixing new shelf in office and straightening desk etc.

Afternoon - To see Olympia circus procession with May and Ethel and afterwards in garden getting currants for jam.

Evening - Writing to Pub. Invention, see letter 193.

Notes:
1) At the time, John's daughters May and Ethel were aged about 6 and 5. Ursula was about 3 and Walter a baby.
