Baptism 1853

I'll put the 1888 diary on the blog in the new year but I'll start with some background information.

John was baptised at St. Giles' church Cheadle on 12/6/1853. John's parents were listed as living at Portobello, which I think was an inn at Town End in Cheadle. John's father was listed as being a joiner. The godparents included a William Holmes, another William possibly from Birmingham and his aunt Hannah Eliz. Yates.
